The Pamper Palace delivers deluxe pamper parties for children, based at Studio K8 Salon in St. Albans. The Palace offers a range of pamper and beauty treatments as well as a mini disco, party games and a photoshoot.

The owners behind the company have many skills including business management, event planning, beauty and childcare experience. This combined allows us to deliver the best possible celebration for your child and their friends. The birthday queen or king will get the full glam experience and party in style!

Meet The Team

Katie Mallett - Salon Owner of Studio K8 Salon/ Co-Owner of The Pamper Palace

Katie is one of the Co-Owners of The Pamper Palace and runs Studio K8 Salon based in St. Albans. Katie has run her own business in hair extensions for almost a decade and has a background in Primary school teaching. With her love for all things hair and her teaching background, she runs her own training academy. Katie has a number of trained beauty and hair stylists within the salon, who she supports and mentors with their own businesses. Katie looks forward to welcoming your child into the Pamper Palace!

Daisy - Hair Stylist

Daisy is a qualified hairdresser and hair extensionist where she works for Toni & Guy. Daisy has a passion for every little girl that sits in her chair ends up leaving feeling super glam and gorj! Whether you want multicolour or sparkle Daisy will have you covered!

Sophie Kadim Owner of Soph's Sweet Settings/ Co-Owner of The Pamper Palace

Sophie is the director and one of the Co-Owners of The Pamper Palace and also runs Soph's Sweet Settings - a local childcare agency providing pop up creches for weddings and private events. Sophie has a background in business studies, nursery management and event planning. Sophie has run her childcare agency for almost 5 years and carefully recruits her childcare professionals who are all fully vetted with DBS checks and qualifications. Sophie carries out the initial consultations when booking in with The Pamper Palace to ensure we are fulfilling your child's dream birthday party! Sophie looks forward to welcoming you in her makeup chair where you will be spoilt for choice on shades, shimmer and sparkle!

Alana - Children's Entertainer

Alana is a paediatric student nurse and also works for Soph's Sweet Settings. With her experienced childcare background Alana's role in the palace is to keep your children engaged in the arts & crafts activities we provide, as well as hosting our mini disco in the back room of the salon! Whether its dancing to the CHA CHA CHA slide or belting Katy Perry's Firework song, Alana is sure to get your children up and grooving!

What Does The Palace Entail?

Mini Makeup

The Pamper Palace uses child friendly, non toxic makeup products. This includes Sparkly and colourful eye shadow, blush and lip-gloss as well as face/body glitter. You will be feeling so Glam!

Colourful Hair Braiding

The Pamper Palace offers a range of beautiful coloured hair that can be braided as well as feather/tinsel extensions. Whether you want colour or sparkle, you will have plenty of choice!

Nail Painting

Our nail parlour has a variety of different colours for you to choose from, including a mini manicure and hand massage to completely relax you!

Skincare

A new addition to the palace which we have recently added is a child led activity of skincare! The children will get the opportunity to use brushes and non perfumed/scented cream to brush on their own faces or to one of their friends, a non toxic face mask and cooling cucumbers on their eyes! We play a game with the children to see who can balance the cucumbers on their eyes the longest!

Mini Disco

After you have been pampered you will get to experience the disco room in full swing! Bubble machine, flashing lights, balloons and glow sticks - get ready to get your groove on!
