Sophie
Owner and Director
'Hello my name is Sophie Kadim and I am the owner and director of Soph's Sweet Settings. We are an award nominated childcare agency based in Hertfordshire providing premium Pop Up Creches for weddings and events. Soph's Sweet Settings was established in 2021, previously known as Soph's Sitters Ltd where we began almost 5 years ago as a babysitting agency, supporting local families with evening and weekend babysitting. This small but very successful enterprise has grown so much it has now enabled us to host childcare at bigger functions and events, where we introduced our Pop Up Creches at weddings and events and this is where Soph's Sweet Settings was born.
Here at Soph's Sweet Settings we take pride in building a strong rapport with our clients and want to ensure we continue to provide the highest quality of care to your little ones.
I consider childcare a vocation and expect all those working at Soph's Sweet Settings to also have that same passion. Being a part of a child's development, learning and growth as well as seeing them reach their early years milestones is so rewarding. I have worked in the childcare industry for 15 years, beginning as a Level 3 Nursery Nurse then moving into management as well as working as a Private Nanny for many years. I also have a background in business studies, leadership and management and recruitment. After working for early year settings for many years I decided I would like to start up my own company so stepping down from nursery management and starting my own business seemed the natural progression for me.
As a childcare provider we completely understand the importance of leaving your children in trusted hands. We live up to our ethos of being 'a parents first choice'. Our staff are fully vetted holding childcare and paediatric first aid qualifications alongside being quality assured through the company as well as being DBS checked and referenced.'
Caroline
Office Manager
Caroline supports Soph's Sweet Settings with the management of the administrative tasks in the office. Caroline is organised and efficient and works in partnership with Sophie supporting the arranging of the wedding events we attend to promote our services. Caroline herself comes from the caring industry where she has been a nurse for over 40 years, showing compassion and understanding in caring for others.
Sarai
Office Admin/ Social Media Marketing
Sarai is a freelance in social media marketing management where she supports Soph's Sweet Settings with our social media platforms. Sarai manages the pages to help promote our services, enabling us to reach our target market audience and gain engagement with our followers.
Sarai's role has recently expanded where she is supporting the administration tasks in the office too and also has a background in childcare, as well as having her own 2 children. Sarai will always understand any needs you wish to discuss in the absence of Sophie and Caroline. '
Graphic Designer
Tariq
Tariq is a freelance Graphic Designer where he graduated from Solent Southampton University in 2018 completing his degree in Graphic and Media Design. Tariq supports Soph's Sweet Settings with our designing and branding where he has designed all the marketing content for our company. Tariq is a very artistic and creative individual who has a keen eye to detail.
Leigh
Photographer
Leigh supports Soph's Sweet Settings by capturing the most beautiful and special moments on her camera! Leigh attends some of our events including the wedding fairs, pop up creches and children's parties. Leigh has an art of capturing the most natural and beautiful photos of children having fun!
Shannon
Childcarer
Shannon has been working at Soph's Sweet Settings for just over a year now. Shannon holds a Level 3 qualification in childcare where she has worked with a variety of different ages, including young adolescents. Shannon has worked in school settings as a teaching assistant - as well as supporting her local church with youth events. Alongside being a mother herself to 3, Shannon is dedicated and passionate to creating nurturing environments for children and young people to thrive.
Alana has been with Soph's Sweet Settings for over 2 years and is currently studying at the University of Hertfordshire undertaking her degree in Child Nursing. Alana has visited 17 different countries and lived in 5, she has assisted in volunteering work with children as well as working as a live in nanny - looking after a variety of different aged children.

Childcarer
Casandra has been a Paediatric Nurse for over 15 years and also holds a Level 3 childcare qualification, alongside being a mother herself. Casandra has been exposed to both hospital and early years settings where she has looked after, nurtured and cared for children covering a range of different ages. Cassandra loves to plan exciting and stimulating activities for the children in her care.

Caitlin
Caitlin holds a Level 2 and 3 qualification in Childcare Education where she currently works in a private day nursery as an Assistant Room Manager in the Preschool room. Caitlin has been looking after and working with children from a young age, where she began as an apprentice. She loves the preschool age where she can support their learning and development in preparation before they transition to school.
Kayley
Childcarer
Kayley is a Level 3 childcare professional where she has looked after children for over 12 years, ranging between new borns to adolescents. Kayley has been exposed to both private daycare settings as well as working as a private Nanny. Kayley is passionate about providing first class care to children and ensures her enthusiasm and high energy is brought to her work to help children achieve their milestones.
